An interesting journal, available is the Journal of Aesthetics & Culture. An example:

"The reconfiguration of publics and spaces through art: strategies of agitation and amelioration" by Anne Ring Petersen and Sabine Dahl Nielsen (2021).

I first heard about 4E cognition in 2019, but am just now finding the time and space to really read up on it. A lot of what people are writing really resonates with the way I think about the relationship between mind, body, and environment and there are so many applications to the kind of pedagogy I believe in.

I’m currently reading the issue of JoLMA called «4E Cognition and the Spectrum of Aesthetic Experience» (edizionicafoscari.unive.it/riv) and there are so many interesting ways to apply the thinking on aesthetics to the teaching in fine arts programmes.

There's a vaguely seasonal theme to my picture today - panto season, that is - but only because I'm calling it 'Miró, Miró on the wall...'
It's actually called 'Le Jour' and hangs in the Fundació Joan Miró, in Barcelona.
Was he basically a Surrealist, a Fauvist, or an Expressionist? I've no idea - I reckon he was probably something of an Anarchist in his artistic leanings. I really like his work though.

If you like it too, please give this a "boost".
