Usually the method is to burn the thing while lying wasted somewhere nearby. I admit that my ”burn a resistor in an electric sauna stove” while drinking one beer halfway _sounds_ lamer, but I can assure that the situation scared the living shit out of me (figuratively speaking, thankfully, the benches are fine).

Smelling ozone in the middle of löyly... throwing water towards the source of smell... RUN!

Usually work related dreams annoy me, but last night #YuriGagarin visited my brain with his need for a website.

He wanted a #peace themed site & stressed that the "language version" should be top quality as well.

First I assumed that the site was to be translated from #Russian to #Finnish, but it turned out to be other way round. Yuri was worried that Russians might miss his message, if the translation wasn't thorough.

After waking up it took some time to realise that I had tears in my eyes.

In #Finnish – #tldr in English: The newspaper Helsingin Sanomat made a #CounterStrike map spreading info about #UkraineWar to #Russia. Now Valve has blocked the access to it in their shop.

We were in Tyumen, #Russia, on #VictoryDay 2019.

At the time all that Great Patriotic War hullabaloo felt mainly comical. Especially the mishmash of #soviet and religious slogans & symbols made me giggle.

Needless to say, I’m not giggling anymore. #SlavaUkraini and all that.
