The site is for game review / walkthrough in the form of text/document/writing with image. Self-hosted. For me personally, I can't really use video walkthrough well - I prefer document/text side, so I want to make one .. and we have some articles too.

Looking at the history of cpu bursts on PeerTube instance, maybe later on I will try to update it out. Not now though, it still works as is.

@kaliranya, @solavtuberosum, and @wolfieamel, please keep using and testing it ya~ It'll be great if more and more people are using it!

I want to have a good, sweet spot for this #PeerTube instance - maybe 4cpu / 8 GB RAM would be good... But we'll see!

So, I *just* move my community's #MineCraft Private Server from Lightsail to EC2 (and upgrading the memory from 2 to 8).

Also moving out from Spigot to Paper. I have to say, Paper has lot more options and felt much better!

EC2 is much more fitting for this honestly. And if I time it right, it will be less costly.

This is quite fun honestly. And as it's community server, I just have a good feeling to do this~

Ok, so. Just tried things out with Lightsail, and I prefer EC2 instead!

Those bursts are not worth it compared to full cpu power, even with static cost. will move my private MC Server out to EC2 now.

Peertube, for now, is on a good condition, so will keep it there. Maybe later i'll migrate to EC2 or similar too!

But yes, a lot of experiment gives me a good thing to know for what to do - and not to do - for this.

Added SkinsRestorer to the #MineCraft server too. Seems to work properly. Also learned that if I want to change often between online and offline, I need to have bungeecord ready for safe UUID~

Updated private Minecraft server from Vanilla to Spigot 1.19.3 with ViaBackwards, DynMap and Multiplayer Sleep~

2.5GB heap ram should be sufficient for this I guess! 'sides it's private, not that many people will be on at a time I believe.

The issue is when to do restarting though lol. I know Minecraft, being java snowball (even with GC) need to be restarted often... It will be for the future!

Almost evening from #SouthEastAsia here! Saturday here, so everything is a bit slower~

I just tuned up my PeerTube instance - now it's 5.0.0, has better livechat feature, opened up registration, added more on the description, and finally can send mail out!

Hope this can help a lot of people who want to do video/stream outside of usual platform!

My peertube (https://peertube.fioverse.zone) instance is semi-ready. I opened registration on the site ( and email thingy too for registration ). Also testing liberaPay for donation ( i dont know if it works on my side - just testing here ).

All registrations will be monitored by me, but feel free to test and register on the PeerTube!

Hope to make a good, safe space for people I care about!

Ok. Smtp integration almost done, and Peertube updated to v5.0.0. It should be much better, faster in encoding, and more stable.

A lot of good changelogs are there, and I am setting proper Code of Conduct there. Simple but good!

Soon i'll open moderated registration so people can register to my peertube.

Created a test instance for fun, using limited federation mode! Ya, can't use 1 core / 1 GB RAM, compiling Mastodon would be too slow. at least 1 core / 2GB RAM, or 2 core / 4 GB RAM.

Also tested single user instance mode too - seems it's very easy to do. And limited federation mode, as it said, are reverse of usual mode - so you need to whitelist instead of blacklist.

This will be quite useful in the long run~ I can create multiple single instance in subdomain~

"Compiling..." on remote machine that haven't been behind something like tmux or screen (or have something of keepalive) always makes me nervous back then.

It always make me nervous even now, so I entered few letters here and then to make sure it keeps them alive (i know i don't need that, it's just a good placebo to keep myself think it's still connected).
