Back in the 1980s I loved wireframe 3D games like "Elite", "Mercenary" and "Arcticfox" ...

So, remember #Cholo anyone?

In this classic, often underrated and mostly forgotten #Wireframe #3D game from 1986 (released by #FirebirdSoftware) the scenario is this:

Following a nuclear war, humanity is trapped underground by a robot defence system that rules the irradiated surface.

Your job: explore the city using a remote controlled robot and take over stronger robots in order to complete the mission (which is to free the survivors from their underground bunkers).

I just found the wonderful 2005 remake (and enhancement) of this game by "Ovine by Design", all with nice atmospheric music.

Wednesday's #retrogaming on the #ZXSpectrum and I really want to like #DemonsRevenge from #FirebirdSoftware, it's an excellent exploration game, but yellow main character on yellow graphics, looking for yellow items in a fast paced game..it's a little bit of an eyeball workout!
