Disappointed that #firefox container data aren't synced across devices. I kinda installed it for that reason.
I use #Safari as my primary web browser but good to know a lot of people who use Mastodon are using #Firefox. Not sure how representative this of the broader #Mastodon and #Fediverse community but interesting poll result nonetheless.

Thereโs no way to autofill passwords saved in #1password using #Firefox on #iOS is there?
I can only seem to autofill passwords if theyโre saved in my Firefox account, which theyโre not, or use 1Password with Safari.
I know this is more Appleโs doing (they apparently donโt allow other browsers to have extensions) than Mozilla, but still frustrating.
I have been using #Firefox for years, but in recent years I have been extremely jealous of #Chrome (and by natural extension #edge ) tab groups. I believe it's the best implementation and execution for me.
Unfortunately, there's nothing similar to Firefox. I believe I've tried *every single extension* that claims to do this and none is as simple and good as what chrome does out of the box. Ffox containers are not a replacement. It's a compromise I make every day. I'd literally pay for that.
Switched all my devices to #firefox today in light of Google's latest land grab, and it all works brilliantly except that the Android app isn' geared to tablets (no tab headers). I won't be going back though
Like many, I officially switched from Chrome to #Firefox. I also changed default search engine from Google to #DuckDuckGo.
I hadn't used Firefox in years and wow, it's improved so much. Loving containers so I don't have to have multiple browsers/profiles. After a full work day, there's nothing I'm missing.
Hello pinned tabs that actually remained pinned without being overwritten, double click to close tabs, and Close Left.
It's little things that make a huge difference.
"Did any user in the world want a #UserTracking and ad platform baked directly into their #browser? Probably not, but this is #Google, and they control #Chrome, and this probably still won't make people switch to #Firefox."

Google gets its way, bakes a user-tracking ad platform directly into Chrome.
Side note: #Firefox also landed support for e2e encrypted webrtc stream lately and there's active work to make it work with facetime web. In case you need that on your #LinuxMobile phone :P
I really hope we can land the #LinuxMobile patches for #Firefox upstream sometime - and have aarch64 builds for nightly in flathub :P
If I have to choose between #Firefox and using #PWAs I'm never going to use Firefox

Firefox for Linux Adds Rounded Bottom Corners- https://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2023/09/firefox-linux-rounded-bottom-corners #firefox #linux #design
There's actually already a great tool for defeating Chrome's targeted ad tracking.
It's called #Firefox.
#Firefox (nightly) just got rounded bottom corners \o/
The border radius comes from the #gtk3 theme and can be overwritten by e.g. the #libadwaita FF theme.
