#FirefoxRelay Premium is finally available in the #Czech Republic, so I subscribed to it. It's cheap (23 CZK~$1/month).

It's not just a handy way to anonymize your email, it's also a way to financially support the only independent web browser left.

@justinz Thanks, yeah, i know about #FirefoxRelay, & also the one i use, #SimpleLogin, but i do only use these for relatively unimportant accounts in case they get hacked, & even these do not publicly display the addy. Tbh, i'm fairly shocked about the KDE bugs site design, now that i've discovered this silliness.

So, i do apologise, but i'm now going to drop this issue, without reporting it. 😞

i love #FastMail. aliases on there are infinitely more useful than #SimpleLogin or #FirefoxRelay due to the fact they're a real email provider, so companies have less reason to block them.

i also don't like how Firefox relay moved to mozmail.com, and I don't like proton (they lock your account if you forget to renew, and request payment for services you didn't even receive; the France ip incident), which makes me concerned about the future of simplelogin.

I like the masking email idea though but #privacy wise this is basically #FireFox intercepting your emails before delivering them to you and then building a premium service on top to reject some types of email.. How is this working? Baesian filters or more #AI bs machine learning to determine if email is wanted or not?

I can see it's worth for when you register to X or Y and X will be sending marketing down the road. But hmmm🤔

Would only idiots volunteer their addy here, or is it actually legit? 🤷‍♀️

Has anyone else tried registering on OpenAI with a Firefox Relay email?

Every time I try to register and verify my email, the link OpenAI sends just takes me back to Firefox Relay's FAQ lol.

I wonder if this is a bug on Mozilla's end or OpenAI's automated email.
