Couldn't figure out why I was suddenly only getting 100 Mb throughput on my #Cisco #Firepower devices. Checked all the configs and nothing stood out. Tried rebooting them but that didn't help. Turned out it was the network cable between the #firewall and AT&T gateway/router.

#FridayThe13th has struck my home lab server. I had a drive become corrupted/go offline and now my #Cisco #Firepower Management Center and Threat Defense VMs won't run properly. Rebooted the server and it is trying to rebuild the drive.

I really should move to a server with more drives, or buy bigger drives for the current server, in order to utilize a RAID 10 or RAID 50 instead of a RAID 5. That would give better redundancy/recovery.

I've secretly replaced the virtual #pfSense #firewall with a virtual #Cisco #Firepower Threat Defense firewall for my home Internet connection. Snuck it in without a change ticket. Let's see if the family notices.
