If I ever spring for #FleeMortals, I think it might have the potential to change my relationship with 5th edition #DnD. I prefer more OSR-style games, but I do like the idea of more tactical play in RPGs. Having a list of "batteries-included" monsters to reduce the mental load of encounter design might make me more willing to run 5e once in a while.

Ran a session of #DND yesterday making use of #FleeMortals by #MCDM for the first time. I've run enough games to know about myself that I just don't have the itch for creating interesting encounters, so I appreciate sourcebooks that offer "batteries included" monsters that promise an exciting combat just by including them in an encounter. The goblins and minions from Flee, Mortals! worked like a charm 👌

Matt(hew) Colville ist wohl einer #DND vlogger/influencer. Er macht mit seinem homebrew #DnD #5e richtig Asch€. Gerade arbeitet er an seinem #MonsterManual #FleeMortals, dass m. E. Vieles der 4e nach 5e portiert.
Ihn finde ich - trotz meiner #DND Antipathie - recht charismatisch, er ist m. E. massenkompatibler als Mr. Richards. Wie gesagt, 0815 #DnD Weisheiten brauche ich jedoch nicht. Glorantha bietet m. E. mehr als #DnD Welten.

Ja, #DnD4E … and „I love it“, m.E. die beste, weil „ehrlichste“ Edition.

Ich amüsiere mich köstlich, daß Leute (#FleeMortals) nun in #DnD5e 4e-Konzepte „breit“ nachbauen und teuer verkaufen. Bin kein #DnD ler und noch weniger #DnD5 ler, kann ich zum Balancing quasi nichts sagen. Balancing wird überbewertet…aus meiner Sicht.
