The virus continues to reassort with other NAm avian influenza viruses, increased A(H5) cases are occurring in mammals, & the risk profile could change at any moment. Influenza A(H5N1) viruses remain a potential pandemic threat, & limiting the incidence of human zoonotic infections & human-to-human transmission is critical.β #FluA

Usually it's #FluA are super common during #fluseason, but we've been getting a real decent amount of #FluB so far this year. I'm no longer doing sample collection on top on testing so I don't know if symptoms are similar. #medlab
