I had a bad cough and some stuffiness last week and completely lost my voice for 4 days. Turns out I had the #flu. I’d like to thank the #flushot for being effective and giving me symptoms so mild I was actually shocked to find out what was wrong with me.
I’d also like to thank the people at urgent care who helped me navigate an appointment without being able to talk to them.
And just for the record, being unable to talk for 4 days sucks a lot. A WHOLE LOT.

It's amazing to me that I can come into a clinic, sign a thing, and get my flu shot in less than 10 minutes. What a time to be alive. 🙂

Also for those living in the US, please go vote and let your voice be heard on who you want (or don't want) in office! In some states, like Minnesota, you can even register to vote today if you haven't already!
