This was my first car I bought at the end of 1999. A 2000 #FordFocus. It was a manual transmission and I didn't know how to drive it until after the purchase. I owned it until 2016. This is not a photo of mine, but it is the same color.

@Beef Okay! Thanks! The main cars I'm looking at are used models of the #FordFusion and #FordFocus. I am aware of the long distance issue, which is why ATM I'm considering hybrids, not EVs that don't take gas. I figure if I'm going to and from work, I can use electricity basically for free at free charging spots, but if I'm going on a long trip, I can just use gas.
Maintance costs are something else I definitely wanna keep in mind tho.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean here. Are you saying, do I plan on speeding, or doing donuts in the snow? Stuff like that?
