Oxfam shops, I learned today, use Barclays card readers.

As a matter of basic ethics why is Oxfam still giving business to Barclays, the biggest funder in Europe of fossil fuels, when Oxfam well knows the terrible consequences of the climate and ecological crisis in the Global South hard.

@NationalGallery Public institutions must be accountable for their actions, indeed. That means we can expect galleries, museums and other cultural institutions to stop accepting money from fossil fuel and other socially and environmentally destructive corporations or institutions, generally in exchange for "artwashing" of noxious industries.
