Ended up jumping ship from #Fosstodon
The real issue for me is the inability to use native characters for loanwords, jargon, names, etc. If I talk about jalapeños I spell it with an ñ. And if I'm posting about issues detecting Windows Editions across various languages I may need to post a few Cyrillic characters (I do this for Multipass using
'.*1[0-9]{1}.*Корпоративная.*' for one language).

No, I was not notified that #Fosstodon suspended my account for posting a humorous video about goats. As you surely know, emails aren't triggered by remote suspensions.

I also was not aware of any instance having a no-goat-jokes rule; otherwise I may have reconsidered sharing humor with my followers.

This report was reviewed by our moderators and after a good laugh, it was closed without action, since to a reasonable person, this content is completely benign.
