I finished my gnome #FoundationPaperPiecing square today. #patchwork #diy #sewing the only piece I pinned went off centre 🤦🏼 I rarely pin unless it's something super duper important (like taking up my wedding dress). As it didn't require overlocking the whole thing was completed on my antique singer #treadle machine. She may be huge as I have her in a special machine cabinet and only stitch in a straight line but she's working well since we rescued her.

One of my summer goals was to learn #PaperPiecing #FoundationPaperPiecing it's very fiddly and time consuming thus far. I chose a pattern that is quite tricky but super cute as my first try. Will finish it tomorrow time allowing. Thankfully it doesn't require much as my sewing machine only stitches in a straight line (117ish yr old #singer #treadle ). Pattern designer is Made By Marney, be warned her website is full of so many awesome patterns you could spend hours just browsing.

I have 2 #CrossStitch and 1 #TunisianCrochet #wip in the room with me while I isolate, along with my sewing corner, all my college stuff etc.
Why am I learning how to do #FoundationPaperPiecing and #EnglishPaperPiecing #quilting ?
