Why does #SlingTV on old #Roku TVs only stream at a highly-compressed resolution? It looks like I'm watching a bootleg feed.

And the funny thing is, I know that #SlingTV can look great. It looks great on newer #Roku devices. It looks great on my dad's #iPhone and #iPad. But it looks bad on old #roku devices (which is most of the ones we have in the home).

And ironically enough, if you use the channels' native apps, like the #ESPN or #FoxSports apps, the video quality is pristine. There's no reason that #SlingTV can't stream to old devices with the same quality.

@curtis I don't understand #FoxCorp wanting to sell #FoxNews though, unless #FoxCorp wants to use the money to do something like buy #FX back from #Disney

#FoxNews is probably losing money, but not that much money, and #FS1 and #FoxSports probably makes up the difference in revenue

#SlingTV is the cheapest way but if I want both #ESPN and #FoxSports channels, I'd need Orange + Blue, which costs $55, not significantly cheaper than the other options.
