Google #youtube doesnt have competition just cause ALL OFFICIALLY FEATURED #peertube servers are ONLY for #developers and #activists . MOST FEATURED are #communist and SOME FEATURED are even #russian .
Dont forget that.
You WILL NOT just close #google even by not using gmail or their search engine. Google CAN EASILY switch its main income to YT and will likely do it cause #framasoft wont quickly change their site...

I don't know how active it is, the last post on their #mastodon page was about a year ago.

@gael @e_mydata one last comment. I often use the example of the #blender foundation as an inspiration for other projects. Their approach has always been to battle test functionality in real world situations, which ultimately makes for better free solutions. Being a French project, I am certain there are many at #framasoft or even the main developer of #peertube @Chocobozzz himself who would be happy to help make these events work correctly in the future:)
