Uptown in #oakparkIL it's the #FrankLloydWright Plus walk all morning. This one is Plus (Not Wright). In one subdivision, the finest residential units in the world.

I live south of the tracks, literally in the Servants Quarters, one of the odd, OLD (for here!) multi-unit buildings in the 'hood. No room for staff in these old Victorians surrounding.

Fun fact: credit for the name "Taj Maria"--an obvious riff off the Taj Mahal--goes to Frank Llloyd Wright.

FLW liked the US Embassy design (he did not like much, so this was quite a compliment!). He told Stone: "You owe it all to that young wife [Maria Torchino, Stone's second wife]..You should call it the Taj Maria.

This exchange between Stone and Wright was widely repeated in the press. The name stuck.
