My father has also been needing an operation on his face due to the multiple fractures he suffered during his horrifically violent arrest. The problem isn't only affecting his jaw, its the entire left side of his face
The bones that were fractured are from under his eye to the cheek bones to the jaw.
My father is living through chronic and increasing pain due to the brutal #torture he was subjected to at the hands of the #Bahrain regime, and they're denying him treatment

Update: my father was not taken to his last two appointments. These appointments were related to problems with his skin (he's developed eczema) but they refused to take him to both appointments.
He also said that for his other appointments, due to the treatment and the mode of transportation which makes his conditions worse, he has stopped requesting to see doctors despite his back and shoulder problems.

#Bahrain's regime has a tendency of going after those it that expose it and it's human rights violations. It is about time their Western allies, #US, #UK and #EU and especially the government of #Denmark, called for my father's release publicly #FreeAlkhawaja #DKPol

My father wasn't allowed to do a power of attorney despite a court order, nor was he present in any of the hearings (he was not allowed to attend the previous sessions, waiting for his call to find out what happened today)

This officer, Marwan, who is politically naturalized, would come into their cell and harass and intimidate the very person he tortured, so my father stood up to him and told him to leave their cell. This is the basis of this case against my father.
