Published my tiny funnel I use to refill bottles. It's specifically sized to fit disposable straws I have, and also refill holes of inserts I made, but source is available, as well as step.
It's modelled as a solid and hollowed by the slicer; has a handy Surface mode for that.

"I wonder if can extrude at an angle", I thought. Yes, yes it can.
I first tried it with Part/Extrude, but Part Design/Pad works the same.
For my model it means I can have an angled inner wall that would cut similarly sized portions of both top and bottom openings, instead of becoming really big on the bottom side, from being a vertical wall in a bell shape. for @3dPrinting

Got annoyed using a ruler as wraps per inch gauge, looked around for a model, and not a single one includes metric units! Also many have these American yarn categories written, like Fingering/Sport, that mean nothing here and not much for anyway. So I've designed (in , of course) and printed this unit systems inclusive , so much better than using a ruler!

I've been playing with pivoting in some more, figured it out (and I think there is a bug which caused it not working before), and decided to print it. The smaller side is only 0.6mm thick and 5mm tall, so it can pass the holes in the middle and carry the yarn with it.
There are a warping hook and a 15 dent rigid heddle, 3d printed tools of my design {that I've been too unmotivated/perfectionist to bring to a shareable state}.

Most people complain about not being Fusion360, but I complain about it not being Inkscape. With this project I need to cut the top surface of the solid at an angle, and need it to pivot around the end of that smaller arc but I can't attach tangentially to it? Even with a point there. And I watched a few videos about pivoting and still can't do it.
In I would have just pulled rotation centre there! And would have snapped it tangentially too, if I wanted.
Is there EMLI5 video?

The results of yesterday's work :) I prefer to integrate the existing handle where possible, also saves me installing heated inserts ;) So I have modelled an existing knob in and then used settings for overlaps to cut it out of the bigger ergonomic handle from .
I've added some 0.4mm to the size of the die but the fit is still tight. Good for this project but a problem to solve later.
Works great, really easy to turn, both Smooth and Fuzzy.

A small and rather simple model in that somehow took me a long time. The solver kept considering the model fully constrained before it was the right shape and before I had all the measurements in; that's an unusual situation, normally it's the opposite. So had to redo thrice, in the process simplifying the sketch to be 1/4 of the model face.
Used it to cut a hole in another model, already printed two results and will show them tomorrow :)

Every time I see tutorials teaching to draw 3D objects, I think...
Well, first I think "смотри, сынок, как мужик без полароида мучается", but you'd have to know Russian and be about as old as I am to catch the reference.
But then I think is 'Sure, open , make the object, turn it to look pretty, export the view...'. Did you know that FreeCAD had an advanced image exporter, you can choose resolutions, have transparent background and such? It's in Tools>Save picture>Extended.

Had a need to cover a laptop camera, so designed a simple letter П (yes, that's a letter) shaped part to slide over it, held in place by gravity. It won't close with it in place or anything, I think a freely articulated part glued to the outside would be the next step. But it's very much functional 😉
Decided I wanted a simpler sketch so went with Part in . Which I haven't yet used for any real project, so deciding what to offset and where took some tries.

What do you think about this and how can we integrate @kicad into the ? Apart from PCB maybe intersecting to interact with ?

My project from a previous thread, printed and let's call it "assembled". Quite literally held together with adhesive tape.
I'm pleased with my plug measuring skills, I've correctly identified 4x1.3mm and then 5.5x2.5mm, mostly by measuring needless and such and looking what goes in and what doesn't.
Much neater cables are sold on AliExpress for ~$6, mine arrived soon after I finished assembling 😉

2/2 I tend to do a lot of more creative work in , so it often disagrees.
I finally realised something about 'the tip' I've been mostly ignoring all this time, that explains why my features disappear after I made a change up the tree. Still haven't looked up the right way to handle it.
I had 2 models and 2 bodies (3 but I haven't used the button body in the end), and discovered that you can hide one but have is focused, change things and be mad because you don't see the changes ;) Oops.

1/2 My biggest project in to date, a case for a custom Quick Charge/ Power Delivery cable that allows me to charge my laptop from a power bank. I had good help with finding the right power bank that is capable, and the right board. My husband did the soldering, testing, and set the requirements for the case. I've measured, designed and printed the prototypes.
It's pretty ugly but it charges :) FreeCAD behaved way better than I expected, I guess it's closer to its purpose.

Followed a tutorial to check a small thing about Attachment in and ended up in another unusable loft. Just because they are cute.
Loving Glass add-on so far!

Installed Glass addon in (thank you, AllVisuals4U, for tipping me over) and of course while setting it up I made a cute unprintable unusable rounded gear in one of my favourite colours. I even, gasp, didn't constrain the sketch and it's still parametric.
