So today, I'm buying plants as housewarming present, and another staff member (not the one who served me) comes up and says, 'Do you like indoor plants?'

'Sure,' I reply. 'I have a few.'

'Would you like this one for free? We don't have any pots that size...' and so that's how I brought home a lovely little prayer plant. How awesome is that?!

Back in September when I was cutting back the hardy lilies, I picked off the little bulblets that had appeared on the leaf nodes on the stems. They had started to sprout roots so I planted them all. The biggest one has started to send out a leaf. Gonna be a while before it reaches a decent size, but I love free plants.

Put some more free plants out today at the front gate. Comfrey (Bocking 14), Strawberry 'samba', Verbena bonariensis, St John's Wort, Calendula 'nova' & a Pulsatilla vulgaris.
