Mains: Brussel sprouts, turkey 🦃 , gravy, homemade cranberry sauce, cheese spätzle, honey-glazed carrots, green beans w fatback (lardons), sweet potato casserole topped with marshmallows, rice salad, bread roll.

Pudding/dessert:
*Pumpkin pie with homemade graham cracker crust 🥧
*Pound cake made in Bundt pan

Delicious meal with lovely people. Most of the food prepared by my MIL. Thankful for good friends with whom to share this feast 🥰

Forgot to take a photo again so I’m recycling an old one, but I made another batch of #charsiew (Chinese bbq pork) today for #friendsgiving, based on the recipe by Made With Lau (can’t seem to link it here without that app crashing). Always a crowd pleaser, even at an event overflowing with various varieties of barbecued meats.

So we decided to do something different for thanksgiving this year. No Turkey here, but dry-rubbed baby back ribs and BBQ chicken wings for the main course. All the normal sides as well.
