Eigentlich schade darum. Bei meiner vorherigen Firma hatte ich ein recht gutes, mittelgroßes Notebook mit Handvenenscanner. Musste zwar Windows verwenden, war aber eine gute Hardware.

I need #help, because this issue is driving me mad.
I'm trying to install from a customized SUSE #Linux Enterprise Server ISO on a #Fujitsu server. Whenever I try to install it via the virtual CD drive provided by iRMC, I end up with the attached error message.
The very same ISO works perfectly, when I flash it to a USB drive. And unmodified Linux ISOs (SLES, Ubuntu) work perfectly via the virtual CD drive.
Secure boot is definitely turned off. Any other ideas?

Before I left for a year to try my luck elsewhere, I organized a couple of cloud events at our Dutch office of Fujitsu. It stopped, due to the pandemic and simply no one continued it afterwards.

So glad that we revived the Community of Practice again: it’s the perfect way to a) socialize b) share knowledge c) grow your network and d) to have fun - with cloud.

#Fugaku is the supercomputer of #Fujitsu (peak rate of 537 petaflop). It's not the fastest... that's Frontier in the US, reaching a whopping 1686 petaflop. Fugaku is number two.

But... Fujitsu, together with Riken Research Institute, will connect Fugaku to the first Japanese #quantum computer. Should be ready by 2025. First use case: development of new drugs and medical treatments.

Tokai University and #Fujitsu revealed the successful development of a new technology to inspect the freshness of frozen #tuna in Japan, the world's first technique to measure the meat quality of frozen tuna without the need to cut or damage the product using ultrasound AI technology.

What a year this has been. After 13 months at Philips I reckoned that it was an awesome company, but not my company - decided to return to Fujitsu in June.
In November i joined the first true global team in #Fujitsu fulfilling the new mission that we branded #Uvance. Meeting people now from all over Europe, Oceania and our Mothership in Kawasaki, Tokyo.
Published two books, 1 on #devops and 1 on DevOps in Healthcare. 3 books planned for 2023!
And… signed the contract for a new house!

Ich hab ein schönes #cloudinit user-data #yaml gebaut, das auf meinem #Fujitsu #futro einen #lxd container mit #alpine aufsetzt und #minetest-server kompiliert, weil Gründe.

Eine Stunde später habe ich zwei Dinge herausgefunden:

1. Die Wärmeleitpaste war doch noch OK.
2. Es gibt #minetest-server auch fix un ferdisch im #alpine edge community repo... 🤦‍♂️

Absolut richtig. Für Messen, Steuern, Regeln nehme ich wieder #esp32 oder #ESP8266 (ein vernünftiges Ethernetmodul wäre nochmal was...). Als kleine Rechner/Server benutze ich momentan refurbished #Fujitsu #Futro S920 (ca. 30 € mit Netzteil und Gehäuse), wahrscheinlich würden auch die S720 reichen.
