A lovely Issid Planthopper, Hemisphaerius coccinelloides, spotted at Bukit Gombak Park, Singapore, on 29 April, 2023. Only a few mm in size, the pattern only became apparent after taking the shots.

Die Larven der Echten Käferzikade (Issus coleoptratus) findet man oft auf Efeu oder Ilex. Insbesondere Aug in Auge sehen die kleinen Racker niedlich aus.

Three isn't a crowd. :-) A group of Planthoppers, maybe genus Metcalfa, spotted at Upper Seletar Reservoir Park, Singapore, on 24 April, 2022. Plenty of them could be found on other nearby branches.

A Ricaniid Planthopper (from subfamily Ricaniinae) spotted while walking at Sime Track in the Central Catchment Nature Reserve, Singapore, on 9 July 2021. It has interesting, partially transparent wings.

Planthoppers are True Bugs and are sometimes mistaken for moths.
