My Grandson has been admitted to hospital due to with an abcess on his coccyx.
They called the Ambulance Service last night, but were told it could be a wait of about 6 hours! A friend took him to A&E and he was admitted and was in a bed quite quickly. Now waiting for a slot for surgery to be available!
Thanks to the Hospital Staff looking after him!

So, my 2 week NHS appointment, for a spot on my back, which I was warned could be up to 6 weeks (and it was) has now just been cancelled, on the day, by the private hospital because the Doctor has been called to an urgent theatre case!
I'm ranting about the cancellation, but not the reason for it!
More proof, if needed, that the NHS is short of Doctors, Nurses and all other staff!
