[paraphrasing]
"Living with chronic pain can be very isolating. But thanks to streaming and gaming over the internet, I'm no longer bound geographically. I can find my tribe online, and be a real part of a community.
Gaming is so much more than just gaming to me." #GAConf
Current talk is a very honest panel on gaming with chronic pain.
"I'm in constant pain, and every decision is a trade-off. If I play for an extra 10 minutes, is that going to mean I can't do other life tasks later, like wash my hair, or even use a ketchup bottle?" #gaconf
First day of #GAConf has come to a close. I can't do justice to how many brilliant talks there were today, whether they were about deafblindness, the difference between ability, capability, and capacity, or just how to bake in accessibility early.
Very excited for tomorrow! ♿✨
I'm here to take selfies and make accessible video games... And I've already taken a lotta selfies

Morning all.
Caught my train with 30 seconds to spare, literally got on the train and the guard blew the whistle. That’s the finest I think I’ve ever cut it, won’t be doing that again - especially not on an Advance ticket!
Heading back to London once again, I can see why people who commute back and forth eventually get bored of it.
Off to an accessibility conference - #GAConf ! Looking forward to it but also very nervous!
Morning all.
I apologise for being quiet for a while, I honestly don’t feel like I’ve had a whole lot to report.
Was back at work yesterday after 10 days off and it was nice to just disconnect and have some proper R&R. I didn’t get a whole lot done but honestly, it was never about that.
Now I’m on countdown to #GAConf at the end of the month and I’m utterly bricking it. My first proper game dev conference and I’m just going to feel like the odd one out :/
I was so honored to present the award for Best Representation to Just Dance at the IGDA-GASIG Game Accessibility Conference Awards this week! Representation is incredibly important and all of the hard work by the developers deserves recognition. I'm a fervent defender of #neurodiversity as I am #Autistic, in the French video game industry as well as of #disability: I'm often found with the #CapGame association which works in this direction!
