Die EU-Kommission hat am 23. Februar 2023 einen Entwurf für die sog. Gigabit-Infrastrukturverordnung („Gigabit Infrastructure Act“, #GIA) veröffentlicht. Die Verordnung soll die bisherige Kostensenkungsrichtlinie 2014/61/EU ersetzen und weiterentwickeln. Julien Wilmes-Horváth analysiert in der aktuellen Ausgabe der N&R den Verordnungsvorschlag und seine potentiellen Auswirkungen auf das deutsche #Telekommunikationsrecht.
