@mpe I've been re-reading Terry Pratchett's novel The Fifth Elephant in which the Low King of the Dwarfs has to sit on the Scone of Stone, which is held in reverence by the Dwarfs because (1) it has a single "grain of truth" baked into it and (2) one of their legendary kings sat on it while it was still warm and it retains the imprint, lmao. Imagine making a mockery of tradition like that! 😉
