Speaking of Trump grift. So many are making so much money off the threat to democracy. Trump, for example, is making millions.

What about the rest? I find it interesting that Substack blogs have proliferated like bunnies, most of which are happy to take your money.

Call me naive, but I imagine that when democracy is on the line, people would want to educate and spread the word without a need to silo information into paid and free. It's like MSM paywalls- democracy is fading yet it costs you to know what's happening.

It's fair enough that people look for opportunities to make money. I don't begrudge people who need money or want to supplement their income. But the legal heavyweights and pundits? Why??? You have more than enough $$$$$, more than a living wage, and yet your extra special pearls of wisdom are saved exclusively for paying customers.

What a great grift, "fighting" for democracy or explaining democracy. In times like these one would think educating and getting the information out, *sharing* knowledge, supersedes all other considerations. But no. Why not make money off people's fears and need to know? There's a sucker born every minute.

@RosieICM the ICU ward round truly has changed over the years. It’s not uncommon now for the consultant intensivist to wait for MDT before starting. I guess a couple of frustrations are in timing and interrupting the flow of others. There can be occasions when one disagrees with end decision. On the whole though, much improved and non medical prescribers means we can hopefully #GRIFT most prescribing.
