@HeyeBodo Hello! So with the understanding that I haven't played SoTS but only read it I can give some insight.

SoTS is easily the most heavily modified version of #Gumshoe that I have read. So the combat rules are greatly expanded from the typical #Gumshoe build. It is mainly a S&S action engine with #Gumshoe investigation as a sideline. There are way less investigative skills and they cover more ground.

Investigative skills are usable in combat in all kinds of ways as well.

Good lord never ask me a #Gumshoe #ttrpg rules question unless you are ready for entirely too much information.

#RPGaDAY2023 Day 19: My favourite published adventure is #DraculaDossier for #NightsBlackAgents. Its highly sandboxy format makes it the most replayable and thrilling campaign I know. I've run it several times and not one session was ever similar to any other ones. Its focus on investigation while making the PCs skilled and capable is typically the kind of games I enjoy. Inspired by Brother Cadfael, this inquisitor of the goddess Denarii has chosen the path of non-violence in a city rife with it. A gifted investigator, he's also a man of faith and a man of law.
