Just as the Tri-lingual helped Historians Decipher Ancient Languages of & the Demotic Language as the Stone was written in too, this c200 BCE Bi-lingual Edict (one part in Greek) of King Ashoka of discovered at in helped James Prinsep Decipher Ancient Languages also.

This stone was kept at Museum but was destroyed by in 1990's.

This majestic figure of exudes both power & grace.
Gandharan is a fascinating & accomplished idiom, testament to the cross-cultural origins & early spread of art.
