While watching #GangsofLondon Season 2, a series that certainly offers the most ruthless and nasty fights in history of #TVSeries, I ask myself which #ttrpg offers the fastest and meanest combat system. I used to play #TunnelsandTrolls - definitely overly brutal, but fast? #Cyberpunk2013 / #cyberpunk2020 can also be very dirty, but fast is something else.

I think #DND / #OSR with a handful of HP doesn’t count, on higher levels it rather goes in the direction of attrition.

While I like(d) #SlowHorses and #HouseoftheDragon, #GangsofLondon season 2 is a #brutal lesson about the creation of a violently stunning #thriller, #gangster #drama.

I‘m two episodes into season 2 and I‘m impressed how they tell this tragedy. Highly recommended if you can stand this bloody(!) massacre.
