My peony (in a raised bed) has gone very sad. The seller has told me it was my fault because it needs to be in the ground not a pot but everywhere I’ve looked says peonies in pots is fine. I bought this Parrot Echinacea late last year when there was basically nothing to see - hence the stone ring to avoid digging it up. But there’s a teeny bit of red growth happening! I’m very excited for it to turn into the second photo (hopefully). A great plant for 🐝 and 🦋 . A great one to add to your #PollinatorParadise. My pussy willow, or Salix caprea, is starting to get tiny little buds. I only bought this little guy in the autumn so I’m very excited to see what happens in the next few months. They are a top source of early nectar for pollinators including the purple emperor butterfly! There are plants happening in the garden, and tasks already piling up after a couple of weeks out of the garden.
