We spent a few days down in Southern Illinois. It was relaxing and fun, but also a dose of reality. The highlights of our trip were The National Quilt Museum in Paducah, Garden of the Gods in and Shawnee National Forest. This #painting was done #allaprima on high-quality Belgian Linen with professional grade #oilpaint. The #canvas is back stapled and includes a stretcher bar support. The canvas was triple primed with Michael Harding medium to ensure no sinking in and my medium of choice was Walnut Alkyd which has a non-yellowing soft sheen finish.
