I don't agree that someone who's been accused should be in effect treated as guilty until cleared, but can see why Ellie Wilson disagrees. Shocked that there wasn't a unanimous guilty verdict given the evidence though. And her treatment in court sounds disgusting. This woman now has (in effect) no choice but to marry a man who has raped her and who has only agreed to marry her to escape the prison sentence he fully deserves. The lack of respect for this woman, for #women in general and for #rape victims in general is disgusting.
