I finished S1 of #UnicornWarriorsEternal. 3 warriors are tasked with fighting a evil entity bent on destruction. And with the power of magic and science, continue that fight generation after generation. Even as bodies die.

This was everything I hoped it would be. Magic, action, and deep characterization. Not to mention fun #Popeye & #BettyBoop style #animation. I really enjoyed how this story comes together.

After the Sony hacks, they pulled the plug on the Popeye movie directed by #Genndy. The the rights owner, King Features, said they would make the movie. In an instagram post, Genndy indicates it's still not happening.

Brian Miller, former general manager at #CartoonNetwork, is been sharing memories of the famed studio. The #CN *building* is closing down (The STUDIO is still around, just -housed- at #WarnerBros now). #Genndy & #McCracken got a little bit of say in the interior design. The CN pirate flag got to fly before the fire dept said no. SO much writing on the wall. Literally.

Again, the studio still making shows. But it sucks to lose a home & memories.

Much hay has been made about the #Genndy #Popeye movie that sadly was canceled. But not all was lost. Somehow, the animatic was leaked. Then was taken down. BUT, the Internet Archive still has it!

Oh and we're not just talking about a clip. This is 1hr 27min. Now again, it's an animatic. Voices will change, but each is great. Artists will change, but all great (I think Rob Renzetti is in here). Even as an animatic, it's still fantastic. [thx Cartoon Brew]
