Also: I hope not. Having border controls for trains like that is just a stupid idea that should not be further encouraged.

Instead Britain could just develop a healther attitude towards #Schengen.

The Lower Saxon governments as well as many local politicians whose districts the newly-built track would run through are in favour of the refurbishing. #DB now came out strongly in favour of the new line (#Germanrail twitter largely agrees, I think).
