I didn't post a #review of Nona the Ninth, I don't have anything interesting to say except I love it to death. I love every single character in it, I mean ~obviously~ Ianthe remains best girl but what great characters, what great narration, what great worldbuilding, what great memes.

#LockedTomb is the only series I can think of that made me read all the audiobooks and immediately run for the paper books because I wanted to savour it slower. And I read a _lot_ of lesbian fantasy. I'm so so happy it became a trilogy of four. This series made me a goth glam lesbian necromancer with a futch soldier sharing my body "you were already all that" ok but if I wasn't it would have transitioned me, plural lesbian gothomancy is just idempotent.

Gideon was like Gideon: a romp of a book, nonstop lesbian swordfighting goth gf corny puns. Harrow the Ninth was a puzzlebox of a book, full of secrets and decipherings.

So far, Nona is the book that fills in the lore. If you wanted to know how the world ended up in Sassy Lesbian Warhammer 4K, Nona knows nothing and learns with love.

Also even more plural feelings than the past books so yeah, that's what you can expect, lore and plural feelings.

i seriously learned to love each and every character in their own way, it was hard to remember all of them but I did, I appreciated them, and now they've all died or disappeared this is so sad and pointless and I am so frustrated right now 😭

don't get me wrong, it was a hell of a ride, I laughed out loud numerous times because Gideon is so damn funny and sarcastic! It was fun! I love the setting and the characters! But it was definitely not the fun I had expected, so… be warned :')

and now i learn that it's a trilogy!! i thought this was a one-shot! dangggg
