I'm headed to #Cádiz today.

When I studied #Piano in grade school, I learned to play "Maids of Cádiz", a 19th century tune written by Leo Délibes. It's a persistent earworm, but a pleasant one.

Yesterday I learned that it's far better known as a piece for #Brass thanks to the 20th century arrangement by #MilesDavis and #GilEvans.

Grade school me never could have dreamed that I would end up living a few hours from the city that inspired that tune!
