Terry Gilliam: “When I announce that I’m a black lesbian in transition, people take offence at that. Why?”
Probably because you're a massive bell-end, Terry.
Gilliam like Cleese and Rowling, and many others who have large audiences: they see people-power as a personal attack and act like they are being silenced, all while trying to silence those without a platform.
So I watched Jabberwocky #review #critique
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0076221/
It's a pretty good movie and far better than Erik the Viking https://mas.to/@lydiaconwell/106878185163757091
But in a sense this #film is mired by the same failing as Erik the Viking: the film makers were too stuck on the concept of making a comedy.
Jabberwocky has some funny parts, sure, but I think it's a more enjoyable movie if you don't see it as a comedy.
