In the last 3 months 256 families fled from Turkish occupied #GirêSpî to #AANES

➡️ In the 1st year of the occupation 100.000 out of 170.000 had fled the Turkish occupied area

👉 The #AANES has become a safe haven for people coming from Damascus-held & Turkish occupied areas

➡️ On April 25 in 2017, #Turkey bombed the #Qaraçox mountain, near the city of Derik

🌹 20 of our #YPG/#YPJ fighters were martyred, many others injured

➡️ The goal was to sabotage the progress of our forces against #ISIS in #Raqqa, which was close to liberation

➡️ After the #Qereçox massacre #Turkey's attacks on #Rojava intensified:

🔸 In 2018, Turkey violently invaded & occupied #Afrin
🔸 In 2019 #Serekaniye & #GireSpi

➡️ Both caused war, mass expulsion, ethnic cleansing & ongoing human rights violations in the occupied areas

The violent occupation of #GireSpî (Til Abyad) by #Turkey & their #SNA ground forces in 2019 led to the displacement of 300,000 people

➡️ 21,000 non-indigenous people have been settled until now, most of them from Aleppo, Homs, #Idlib & East Ghouta

➡️ 9,181 in the past 3 months
