Frances Hesselbein, former CEO of the #GirlScouts added merit badges like #ComputerFun and #MathWhiz & found ways to attract far more girls from minority groups. She died Dec. 11 at 107.

Prolific author, she advised nonprofit leaders, corp. execs, US military officers & was awarded Presidential Medal of Freedom in 1998.

“ #Leadership is a matter of how to be, not how to do.”

She called for leaders “who are healers and unifiers.” 🙌
