The #Giro GC battle kept all the drama to the penultimate stage and the mountain TT (those need to be a more common occurrence). Great bit of redemption for Roglic.

Never been a fan of Cav, but it's impossible to argue with how good a sprinter he is and he took a fine win in Rome today.

The real star of this Giro though? Derek Gee! Honorable mentions to Filippo Zana & Nico Denz.

What the actual fuck! That was a crazy finish of the #GiroDItalia. Primož Roglič has a mechanical with his nice one-by bike I like so much, and I thought this is over now for him. But somehow he managed to pull out a monster of a ride up the mountain. He arrived with 40 seconds in front of Geraint Thomas.

Buitrago took a very good win today at the #Giro finishing at Tre Cime di Lavaredo today which was a pretty stunning backdrop for the race. I feel a bit gutted for Derek Gee, he has had an incredible 3 weeks and really deserved a stage win but I think he still stamped his name on this Giro even without one.

Amazed that the GC battle still has seen so little change, the top 3 really is still up in the air tomorrow in the TT.

Wish I had time to watch more than 30km of today's #Giro stage, the Dolomites make for a stunning backdrop!

Derek Gee & Marco Frigo doing their best again to transform my impressions of Israel-Premier Tech as an old mans retirement home.

Filippo Zana also another rider who is having a terrific Giro. Put in some great work the other day for Dundar & took a fine stage win today.

Still no meaningful gaps in the GC.
