Balfarg Henge, whose modern setting in the middle of a housing estate on the north-east edge of Glenrothes in Fife would be very alien to its ancient builders. The north side of Balbirnie Stone Circle. The circle comprises eight stones in a partial circle some 15m in diameter and was probably erected over 4,000 years ago.
