#Gloomhaven 2e promo stream on Twitch has locked character spoilers FML

The idea behind #Gloomhaven 2nd edition is quite appealing, but the thought of restarting the campaign (I'm not that far in) and waiting a couple of years (or so) to do so makes me pause.
Same for the minis.
Not to mention Frosthaven is out.

New #Gloomhaven stuff looks nice but would take up space I don’t have. Plus I should actually just play the game that I already have.

So I have given it another go, but I cannot grok #Gloomhaven.

I’ve tried the tabletop and digital versions and I just find it a punishingly hard puzzle from the first rooms that I do not enjoy repeatedly failing.

Is it Dark Souls as a #boardgame? Am I missing something?

My wife and i are looking at grabbing Gloomhaven Jaws of the Lion as a Valentine's present for ourselves.

For those who've played it, how fun is it, especially compared to Gloomhaven? We're torn between these two games at the moment.

Ça fait longtemps qu’on a pas fait un bon jeu de plateau, et celui là a de super critiques. On voulait prendre le jeu de base mais apparemment commencer par celui là est un bonne idée avenant de s’attaquer au gros gros morceau que le jeu de base ^^

I got my review copies of CY_BORG and the new #bladerunner RPG last night. I don’t think I’ve ever been more impressed with a company’s physical editions as I am with Free League. Plus…#cyberpunk is my favorite

On top of #TheOneRing #TTRPG and the #TalesFromTheLoop #boardgame that my friend got me for Christmas, I can’t wait to dig into all this non-#DnD gaming.

I love D&D, don’t get me wrong. But I’m excited for something new, too. Between this stuff and #Gloomhaven, I’m solid.

Taught my nephew how to play #Gloomhaven Jaws of the Lion this afternoon and win Scenario 6 together. He was the Hatchet and I used the Red Guard and Voidwarden.

It was so much fun.

Made it through the first 5 scenarios of #Gloomhaven Jaws of the Lion. It’s a fantastic tutorial and onboarding experience for the game, and I definitely understand it more now than I did even playing the Steam version for a while.

Today was my last day at work until after Christmas, so I wonder if I can finish this campaign before I get the base game on the 25th? 🤔

I got my mother-in-law to buy me #Gloomhaven for Christmas since it’s been on limited sale about 40% off lately. And then last night I grabbed the #JawsOfTheLion standalone/expansion because Target has it for $35 right now.

Since Asmodee messed up everything on the past two years it's been really hard to follow the development of Embers of the Imperium, a Twilight Imperium #ttrpg using the Genesys System. But there's finally a landing page for it. And I'm thinking next year there might be official rpgs for two of my favorite board games ever #Gloomhaven and #TwilightImperium

I rarely get excited about licenses but those two settings are two of my favorite ever
