@hackbyte @briankrebs
Like it's not even a "please click our #CAPTCHA meant to prevent false reports by bots (which isn't a thing btw!) but literally Registrars like #GoDaddy saying in corporate legalese:
'We don't give a f**k about spamming and we won't do jack shite about that!'
There's a reason .de domains are one of the best regarded, and it's not because #DeNIC demands a legal resident with a fax number as contact, but because regulators like @BNetzA are rightfully short-fused re: #SPAM.
#spam #denic #GoDaddy #captcha
@hackbyte @briankrebs yeah, but to go back to the point: #Spam is a big issue and 99,9% of all Spam that isn't bring #DROP'd by #Spamhaus blocklists are from #GMail, #YahooMail, #Hotmail / #Outlook.com / #Office365 / #AzureHostedExchange and domains hosted by registrars like #GoDaddy, because #Google, #Yahoo, #Microsoft and the Registrars refuse to even process #Abuse #reports at all.
#reports #abuse #Microsoft #yahoo #Google #GoDaddy #azurehostedexchange #office365 #outlook #hotmail #yahoomail #Gmail #spamhaus #drop #spam
Aside fron #GoDaddy buying up other hosters like #DomainFavtory and then literally #doxxing their clients via their #WHOIS which only protects #Spammers and not bona-fide users!
#spammers #whois #doxxing #domainfavtory #GoDaddy
@iatendril OFC they can do something about their own customers they host, provide servers and/or domains to and thate are cringe asshats from the USA...
It's just that #GoDaddy decided not to do so explicitly and stating something aling the lines of:
'If you want to complain about a customer of ours spamming, then fuck off and make them stop spamming'...
They are a #RogueISP that knowingly supports #Spammers that illegally spam me.
*nodds in agreement*
I'm more pissed off by #RogueISP|s that refuse to react to duely-made and legitimate #abuse reports.
For example, #GoDaddy literally harbours most of the #Spammers I've to deal with since they don't even bother to react to #AbuseReports at all and instead sent automated replies from a #NoReply adress telling that they won't do jack shite - even if one goes through their arcane #ticketing system to refile as demanded.

@coltofox yeah, I had similar issues ages ago.
#Microsoft are real assholes for being one of the 3 biggest providers (#GMail & #YahooMail are the others) that do demand a shitton from #eMail #hosters yet don't even react to #Spam reports...
Worse are only #GoDaddy that refuse to provide any #WHOIS nor react upon #AbuseReports at all...
#abusereports #whois #GoDaddy #spam #hosters #Email #yahoomail #Gmail #Microsoft
#yahoomail #Gmail #Microsoft365 #spammer #GoDaddy #abusereports
#dsgvo #bdsg #GoDaddy #Email #USA #spammin
The fact that #GoDaddy requires people, to do added labour beyond senting an eMail to abuse@godaddy.com is the reason why #Spammers love their services...
How is it even legal to sent eMails with falisied MX records, making replies impossible.
And yes, if I wasn't keen on staying with a clean record AND remain employable, I'd not ask politely but yeet the spammers offline.

For what it's worth: I register domains at GD and host websites and name servers at Wordpress.com. Or some variation of those pieces. Email is usually by one of the big hosts (Google.)
This version of the truth: The the least cost / high reliability equation. I apply it as often as I can for clients. Minimal break/fix. User accounts mostly.
Caveat: The circumstances are oriented toward propelling self-service. I become a teacher, rather.
@kobayashi90 ask @fuchsiii - once #domainfavtory was bought by #GoDaddy her inbox was f**ked due to them neither doing #WHOIS-Protection nor #CAPTCHA'ing their WHOIS database...
#captcha #whois #GoDaddy #domainfavtory
@kobayashi90 #GoDaddy is worse.
It and it's subsidiaries are notorious for #Spamming.
