Nicht, dass man das Google-Fonts-Hosting nutzen sollte, aber krass wie offensichtlich kriminell die Masche war, die augenscheinlich ca. 340.000€ eingebracht haben müsste. #GoogleFonts #Abmahnung

@ramichaelseidlitz na das ist ein erster Schritt in die richtige Richtung diesen #Abmahnanwalt von #GoogleFonts entsprechend für sein Verhalten zur Rechenschaft zu ziehen. 👍

Hoffentlich wird das endgültige Urteil dem auch Rechnung tragen und nicht nur in ein paar Sozialstunden ergeben. 🙄

Mit welchem Dreck man sich auseinandersetzen muss. Mein Bruder hat eine lächerliche #GoogleFonts #Abmahnung von #MeurMedia erhalten … die selber eine Webseite betreiben die absolut abmahnfähig ist.

Und das Beste: Mein Bruder benutzt gar keine Google Fonts.

Wie viele mitbekommen haben gehen gerade einige #Abmahnungen im Zusammenhang mit #GoogleFonts um.

Prüft schnellstmöglich eure Website auf die dynamische Einbindung von Google Fonts (d.h. die Schriftarten werden durch Verbindung zu den Server von #Google geladen). Auch bei eingebundenen YouTube-Videos werden diese Schriftarten nachgeladen.

#ServiceTweet: Wer eine eigene Webseite, Blog oder ähnliches betreibt prüfe, wenn nicht schon geschehen, ob dort #GoogleFonts eingebunden sind. Eine entsprechende #Abmahnwelle nach #DSGVO mit Schadensersatzforderung erreicht gerade einen neuen Höhepunkt.

Da ein bisschen Zeit investieren ist wesentlich günstiger als eine #Abmahnung wegen Verstoß gegen die #DSGVO zu bekommen. 😉
