He put his debit card in and did it because he wanted something to tell people to go to. He was going to do IansCatSitting.com, and Google said he might want to consider IanCatSitting b/c it said the former reads like IanScatSitting, which Google said sounds related to Face Sitting. 🤣 I was impressed with Ian and Google.

I suppose my frustration with, and disdain for, faculty and institutions promoting #AdobeExpress #AdobeCreativeSuite, #GoogleEducation, #GoogleSites, #GoogleClassoom, #GoogleDocs, #MicrosoftEDU, #MSWindows, #iPads, #Chromebooks, etc., etc., etc., is such enthusiastic #edtech engaement (well-meaning as it is) ultimately serves corporate interests--creating lifelong and locked-in customers--rather than education or their schools.

Free hosts like #GoogleSites are too basic; being locked into a #wysiwyg editor is terrible, but I don't need anything more advanced than being able to get into my own #html and #css code for small edits.
