An intense battle scene.
From #GovernmentMuseumChandigarh, this AD 1735 #Pahari painting from #Guler #HimachalPradesh by artist #PtSeu #PanditSeu.
Swords, Muskets, Bows & Arrows and even the UNDONE turbans of 2 horsemen, one in pink dress, centre and another at top, is so vividly and colourfully described here.
Just OUTSTANDING.

#PanditSeu (1680-1740) of #Guler #HimachalPradesh was the foremost artist of #Pahari paintings. His 2 sons #Nainsukh and #Manaku were equally accomplished just as the grandchildren, known as the 'Third Generation after Nainsukh and Manaku', spreading the art to #Basohli, #Nurpur, #Jammu #Kangra etc....the #PunjabHillStates.
A self portrait of his, made in 1735 is now in #GovernmentMuseumChandigarh.
