I feel like I am just scratching the surface on Antagony, but it is just blowing me away.

How this novel hasn't been translated earlier is a huge disservice to the English speaking world. I need to work on my Spanish to read his untranslated works.

If you are a fan of Proust, Joyce or Gaddis you will love Luis Goytisolo.

Finished the first book "Recounting" out of the four in Antagony by Luis Goytisolo. Have to say I have just been blown away by this book. I am really excited to get into the next 3 books. Recounting is definitely one of my favorite books of all time. I'd highly recommend reading it to anyone out there who is thinking about it.
