Great for immersion, but not for lap times. I'm having to learn to drive all over again.
I bought a 6 spd shifter too, it's an order of magnitude more difficult to get right.
After half an hour of not going anywhere very quickly (it's impossible to catch a slide) I've had to turn all the assists back on, just so I can complete a lap without spinning.

Won my second race in Gran Turismo 7 online Sport mode racing against players all round the world. Usually finish in the middle to the back of the pack but qualified high up and managed to get the win. #gt7 #GranTurismo7
